Signing the Service Contract

With whom is the Service Contract signed?

Service Contract is signed with the property owner or possessor (superficiary, lessee, tenant) entered in the Land Register, whose property is connected to the public water and/or sewerage pipeline, owned by AS Tallinna Vesi and located on the public land right next to the property.

How to sign the contract?

First, please complete the application. In addition, please provide:

  • document that proves your ownership or possession (if necessary, we can issue the data on-site from the Land Register´s inquiry system);
  • letter of authority (if the land is in common ownership or if a third person is acting as a contractual representative). Co-owners can also sign the letter of authority digitally.

What happens when the application and necessary documents have been submitted?

At first, our representative will contact you to set a suitable date for the inspection of water metering unit, fixating the water meter reading and completing the delimitation drawing*. After visiting your property and preparing the Service Contract,  we will contact you to agree on a suitable way for signing the contract.

*Delimitation drawing is an inseparable part of the Service Contract. It is a grafic drawing, marking the pipes owned by AS Tallinna Vesi (public water and sewerage system) and pipes owned by the customer (property waterworks and sewerage), and connection or delimitation points.
