Drink tap water

The quality of drinking water is very good in Tallinn and tap water is excellent for quenching a thirst. In 2011, 99.66% of the water samples taken from customer taps were compliant with the legal quality standards. This is the best ever result of the Company in terms of water quality which is well comparable to the drinking water quality in Western Europe.

For the benefit of a clean Baltic Sea

Wastewater treatment at Paljassaare plant contributes significantly to the creation of a pure environment for the Baltic Sea. Since 2006 Tallinn is no longer included in the Helcom list of hotspots. This has been an excellent recognition of our investments made in the continuous improvement of our wastewater treatment process.

What is Watercom?

In 2010, AS Tallinna Vesi established a subsidiary company OÜ Watercom, which concentrates on the services that remain outside its holding company´s regulated public water supply and sewerage business, and on expanding these services outside main operating area all over Estonia.
